Rod's journey in Escondido began 27 years ago when he and his family settled in this vibrant community.
He has decades of experience as a Navy veteran and a retired DoD Contracting Officer Representative, Rod brings a unique skill set to the table.
He comprehends how to navigate complex systems, collaborate across agencies, and deliver results.
His track record of working across the aisle equips him to address challenging issues such as enhancing public safety, repairing roads, and finding compassionate solutions to homelessness.
Over the years, he has witnessed the city's growth, changes, and new challenges.
Like many of his neighbors, Rod is weary of the increasing homelessness, businesses closing, and investment flowing to other cities.
As a proud resident, Rod's affection for Escondido is deeply personal and is the driving force behind his decision to run for City Council.
